How to Pledge and Give in 2025 to First Church
As always, there continue to be two steps in our giving as supporters of First Church.
1. We fill out a pledge card indicating our commitment to support First Church in 2025. You can do this online by clicking here or there are paper pledge cards available at church in the Narthex. Your pledge is a commitment, and can be changed by contacting the office.
We hope your pledges will be shared with the church by Sunday, November 24, so we can dedicate our pledge commitments in our morning worship that day. There will also be a Stewardship Celebration following worship in the Koinonia Room on Sunday to thank all our givers.
2. We fulfill our commitment by paying our pledge during the year. You can pay by check or cash directly to the church or by a directed transfer from an IRA or other account, and there are no fees to the church for this.
Or, you can give through a recurring payment online, and you can set that up in our new system by clicking here.
- When setting up online recurring giving: Please select “General Fund 2025” and then your preferred frequency (weekly, monthly, etc.) and your preferred start date for some time in January.
- Note: You no longer need to fill out the yellow recurring giving paper form and turn it into the office, you can now set up payments yourself. Current reoccurring payments using our old system will end on December 30th. There are higher fees charged when you pay with a credit/debit card than if you set up an ACH payment directly from your bank account. Our fees with the new system are slightly less than with the old system, but credit card companies always charge just over 3%, and direct bank transfers are just over 1%. Thank you for your thoughtfulness about how we give and your support of the fees when possible.
- Need help? Stop by the table in the Koinonia Room after church for assistance. Please bring a check or your bank info (for routing and account numbers) if you prefer to pay automatically through your bank.
