Long Beach Landmark Theatre proudly presents the next installment of The Workshop Series, “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” by famed comedian Steve Martin. Paris, 1904; The Lapin Agile, a beloved Parisian watering hole, welcomes two soon-to-be legends for one extraordinary and fanciful night. Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso spar with the regulars and each other about art, science, inspiration, love, and the promise of the 20th Century. Directed by Martha Duncan and featuring Emily Cipriani, Jacob Dysart, Pluto Dysart, Doug Emslie, Richard Martinez, Emily Morgan, Lily Penner, Corey Shaw, and Phineas Wilder. This production is part one of Landmark’s Steve Martin couplet, followed in May/June by our Main Stage production of Bright Star, the hit musical by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell.
Performances are Friday, March 21st and Saturday, March 22nd at 7:30 pm and a matinee at 1:00 on Sunday, March 23rd with a casual French bistro offering of pastries and coffee before the show!! Tickets range from $25 to $35. lblandmark.org. Hope to see you there!!
